WALTER KPENTEY

Walter Kpentey is an Organisational Development (OD) Consultant with over eight years experience and has been involved in many assignments including strategy development, operations review, institutional assessment, business valuation, financial modelling, feasibility studies and business planning, training and industry analysis. Walter has worked in several sectors and industries including hospitality, agricultural and agro-processing, healthcare, educational, manufacturing, airline, banking and finance and telecommunications. He has also undertaken assignments for both public and private institutions, Local and International Non Governmental Organisations (LNGOS / INGOs). He brings specific industry knowledge and expertise to bear on assignments.

Prior to joining Sync Consult, he worked as Assistant Mechanical Engineer at a premier Stone Quarry in Sekondi where he was responsible for monitoring and coordinating of activities that ensured the smooth and efficient running of all the equipment at the quarry. Among others, he developed a model to introduce planned preventive maintenance for the quarry. The model provided for an efficient and effective planned maintenance programme which enhanced the performance of the equipment.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Organisational Development from the University of Cape Coast/OCIC UK and Diploma in Mine Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology School of Mining (KNUSTSM). He is currently pursuing a Masters Programme in Organisational Development from the University of Cape Coast /Organisation Capacity Improvement Consultants UK. He has attended and participated in several Professional Development Programmes (PDPs) as part of capacity /professional development programme of the Firm both in-house and externally.
