FAFA AMABLE
Fafa Amable is a Consultant in Sync Consult
with five years experience in consulting.
She currently works with the Social
Development service line and also provides
support to other service areas especially
strategy and institutional analysis.
Earlier, as Operational Support Coordinator,
she provided support for most assignments
undertaken by the Firm, participating in the
review process. She is also responsible for
the organisation of the Professional
Development Programmes (PDPs) of the Firm
and has organised training and capacity
development programmes for professionals in
business valuation best practice, advance
business valuation (valuation of intangible
assets), financial modelling and effective
presentation strategies. She has also been
involved in the organisation of strategy
sessions. Among her other interests, she is
the Administrator of the Ghana Charter of
the International Association of
Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (IACVA),
an international body of Business Valuation
Professionals.
Prior to joining Sync Consult Limited, Fafa
worked with the Ministry for Regional
Cooperation and NEPAD, and was, among
others, involved in the facilitation of West
Africa Monetary Zone (WAMZ), Economic
Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
and the New Partnership for Africa’s
Development (NEPAD) sensitisation
workshops/seminars. Earlier, she served as a
Personal Assistant at the Ministry of
Economic Planning and Regional Cooperation.
She has also worked with Kibi Goldfields
Limited, a mining company in Ghana, as
Administrative Assistant to the Managing
Director and as Office Manager for both the
Accra and the Mine Site Offices for five
years.
She holds a BA in Sociology from the
University of Ghana (2008). She also holds
Stenographer Secretary Grade II and Typist
Grade I Certificates from the National
Vocational Training Institute (NVTI). She is
a student member of the Institute of
Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA),
UK. She has attended several professional
development programmes as part of
capacity/professional development both
in-house and externally.
